Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Property Observation in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests, staff, and performers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, patrons, performers, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural venue.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public spaces, performance areas, backstage corridors, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor flow during performances, events, and other venue activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, disturbances, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with venue personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
