We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our Newry office and support the continued growth of our Nordic business.
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will develop our presence across the Nordic region. Working remotely with customers throughout Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, you will identify new business opportunities, develop existing customer relationships, and drive sustainable sales growth within a developing territory.
Unlike many sales roles, you will have no dedicated field sales support. You will take ownership of the territory by proactively generating opportunities, building customer relationships, and managing the sales process from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and order placement.
You will report to the Customer Service Team Leader and be based in Newry.
You will work mainly on-site, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement.
The responsibilities - You will do:
- Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase sales across the Nordic region.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting activities.
- Develop relationships with both existing and prospective customers to maximise long-term sales potential.
- Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Generate quotations for repairs, spare parts, and replacement products.
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and revenue growth.
- Research target industries, key accounts, and market opportunities within the Nordic region.
- Reactivate inactive customers and increase engagement with existing accounts.
- Build relationships with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical, workshop, and commercial teams to develop customer solutions.
- Achieve agreed sales, margin, and activity targets.
- Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to support business planning.
- Support customers throughout the full sales cycle, including enquiries, quotations, order processing, and after-sales support.
- Represent the business through telephone, video meetings, email, and social selling platforms such as LinkedIn.
The essentials - you will have:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Min 1 year of the experience working within a sales, inside sales, business development, or customer account management environment.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
- Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience maintaining accurate customer and opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Fluent English.
The preferred – Experience you might also have:
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B industrial sales experience.
- Business development or territory management experience.
- Experience selling technical products, repairs, services, or industrial automation solutions.
- Experience working with customers across the Nordic region.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, automation, or maintenance environments.
- Prospecting and lead generation experience.
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM experience.
- Fluency in one or more of Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, or Icelandic).
