Sr. Analyst, Commercial Finance

The Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance plays a key role in driving the financial planning and analysis processes for Regeneron's Hematology business unit, including forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis. This individual serves as a trusted finance partner to brand teams, Medical Affairs, and Corporate Finance, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that support decision-making for both current and pipeline commercial products.

When & Where:

This role will sit on-site at our Sleepy Hollow, NY office and is expected to be in four days per week.

Discover Your Role:

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain Commercial brand team budgets and quarterly reforecasts
• Work with brand teams to address a variety of business/financial challenges

• Prepare and analyze quarterly budget-to-actual variance reports by brand and cost center, and walk brand teams through the drivers

• Serve as a liaison between Commercial, Medical Affairs and G&A to ensure optimal communication, information flow and company alignment

• Prepare financial analysis in support of ad hoc requests and various special projects

• Work closely with internal Finance colleagues for corporate needs and deliverables associated with Commercial data

• Maintain data within internal financial systems, supporting the quarterly reforecast process and ensuring data integrity

• Identify process improvements and areas to increase support for both brand teams and cost centers

• Support the development of long-range plans, budgets, and resource allocations (including headcount) for Commercial operations, building the underlying data, assumptions, and supporting schedules

• Ensure 100% compliance with all Regeneron standards operating procedures and policies, as well as governmental and industry regulations governing the sales, marketing, and overall commercialization of prescription pharmaceuticals         

This Role Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business or quantitative field; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or a similar role; pharmaceutical/biotech experience preferred
• Solid technical foundation in finance, budgeting, and forecasting.  Working knowledge of automated systems for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, planning, and allocating resources for Commercial operations.

Salary Range (annually)

$83,800.00 - $136,800.00
