The Sr. Manager, Workday HCM Integrations and Security is a strategic technology leader responsible for shaping the organization’s Workday foundation across core HCM, associate data, integrations, and security. This role leads a team of engineers and partners closely with business and technology leaders to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that strengthen enterprise operations and improve the associate experience. 

The ideal candidate combines deep Workday technical expertise with strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to translate business priorities into a clear technology strategy. They will lead through influence, build trusted partnerships across the People Group, enterprise technology teams, and external vendors, and create the operating discipline needed to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead Workday integrations, security, and data capabilities from strategy through delivery and support. 

• Establish integration and architecture standards and governance practices that align with people group and enterprise technology strategy. 

• Own Workday security strategy, access governance, audit readiness, privacy controls, and risk remediation. 

• Modernize platform capabilities through automation, simplification, and thoughtful adoption of emerging technologies. 

• Partner with senior leaders to align technology priorities with business goals and associate experience outcomes. 

• Translate complex technical topics into clear recommendations, roadmaps, and execution plans. 

• Lead cross-functional prioritization, risk resolution, and delivery of strategic People Technology initiatives. 

• Define metrics that measure service quality, security effectiveness, delivery health, and team outcomes. 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

• 10+ years of experience in HR technology, enterprise applications, or related technology leadership roles, including significant experience leading teams and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives. 

• 5+ years of experience leading specialized teams across Workday reporting, integrations, security, Workday Extend applications, or related enterprise platform capabilities, with demonstrated ability to set strategy, coach technical talent, and partner with business stakeholders. 

• Deep expertise in Workday security architecture, business process security, domain security, and role-based access management. 

• Strong experience with Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, APIs, and middleware technologies. 

• Proven ability to build and scale Workday Extend applications, AI-enabled platforms, or personalization systems. 

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution. 

• Demonstrated success leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives. 

Preferred 

• Workday certifications in Security, Integrations, HCM, Payroll, or related areas. 

• Knowledge of identity and access management, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory compliance requirements. 

 

Annual Salary

$140,000.00 - $300,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
