Description

The Partner Development Business Analyst supports the Partner Development team through business analysis, operational oversight, and process improvement initiatives. This role helps ensure the systems, reporting, and workflows that support partner management and revenue growth are accurate, efficient, and scalable.

Working cross-functionally across Salesforce, reporting, contracts, customer support, finance, and project management workflows, the Business Analyst will leverage data-driven insights and sound judgment to prioritize initiatives, resolve operational challenges, and recommend strategic improvements. This position also manages a small portfolio of high school and junior college partners, providing valuable exposure to sales, account management, and partner development, with a pathway toward future Partner Development Manager opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-sale contract and operational workflows, ensuring completed deals are accurately transitioned across internal systems and teams.
  • Analyze partner performance, revenue trends, sales pipeline health, renewals, and operational metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead the design, implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes across Salesforce, contract management systems, Jira, Taskland, and related platforms.
  • Establish and maintain Salesforce governance standards, monitor data integrity, and implement corrective actions to improve CRM accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate Partner Development initiatives across Finance, Operations, Product, Design, Support, SIDEARM Extended, and other internal teams.
  • Evaluate and assist with prioritizing Tier 2 customer support issues, coordinating appropriate follow-up and escalation when necessary.
  • Identify operational risks, process gaps, reporting issues, workflow bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement solutions that improve performance, scalability, and business outcomes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analyses that support informed decision-making and operational visibility.
  • Manage a small portfolio of high school and junior college partners, including renewals, proposals, account management activities, and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Support accounts receivable follow-up and collections coordination, helping resolve outstanding issues in partnership with Finance and Partner Development stakeholders.
  • Perform additional analytical, operational, and commercial responsibilities as needed to support departmental objectives and broader company initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, revenue operations, commercial operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong Salesforce experience with a demonstrated understanding of CRM governance, sales pipeline management, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with business reporting and analytical tools.
  • Experience analyzing business performance and providing reports, dashboards, insights, and recommendations to management.
  • Proven ability to evaluate business processes, identify risks and inefficiencies, and recommend practical, results-oriented solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, establish priorities, and drive results without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira, Taskland, or similar project and workflow management tools.
  • Experience working in SaaS, technology, sports technology, education technology, or a related business environment.
  • Commercial mindset with a strong interest in developing expertise in sales, relationship management, and partner development.
