Job Description:
Develops the plan of care, collaborates with the physician in development of the plan of treatment, and supervises services provided in the client’s home by licensed practical and registered nurses.Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience (one (1) year must be in high-acuity pediatric care in a hospital, home care agency, or residential setting
- Preferred: One (1) year of home care experience
- Preferred: Supervisory experience
Skills:
- Ability to function independently, organize and prioritize responsibilities efficiently and demonstrate good nursing judgement
- Ability to work well under stress and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to work in various home environments
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, physicians, and community resources and exhibit empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates computer and general office machine skills
Licensure/Certification:
- Required: LPN License active in the state of Missouri
- Required: Active Driver’s License
