Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence, is seeking Clinical Education Coordinators supporting Acute Care Nursing services.
These are exciting opportunities for an experienced bedside RN, charge nurse, preceptor, clinical coach, Staff Development Nurse, or emerging nurse educator who is ready to transition into a Clinical Education Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Educator, Nurse Educator, or Nursing Professional Development Specialist role.
As a Clinical Education Coordinator, you will use your clinical expertise to educate, mentor, and support nurses while advancing evidence-based practice, competency development, professional growth, and exceptional patient care.

Locations & Schedules
Each position is assigned to a specific hospital and clinical area, allowing educators to build strong relationships with the nursing teams they support.
Schedule includes evening/night support (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM) to provide education and clinical support when teams need it most
36 hours per week

- Acute Care for Elders (ACE)
- Other inpatient acute care nursing services
Baystate Franklin Medical Center – Greenfield, Massachusetts
Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nursing
Baystate Wing Hospital – Palmer, Massachusetts
Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nursing
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Education Coordinator:
Provides hands-on clinical education, coaching, and support to nurses at the point of care
Supports onboarding, competency development, and professional growth of nursing staff
Develops and delivers evidence-based education to support safe, high-quality patient care
Partners with nursing leaders to identify learning needs and support practice improvement initiatives
Serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and professional development partner for nurses
Supports implementation of new clinical initiatives, workflows, and evidence-based practice changes
Promotes nursing excellence, lifelong learning, and a safe, collaborative practice environment
Required Qualifications
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
Experience teaching, precepting, mentoring, or educating nursing staff or students

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$98,051.00 - $112,715.00 - $133,348.00
