Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an immediate opening for a Case Assistant in its Oklahoma City office. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of legal or law firm experience. This position is on-site.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as close attention to detail.
- Computer skills, particularly experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of iManage and Milana is a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a team-structured setting.
- Knowledge of court rules, calendaring, e-filing and filing procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- File correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.
- Index pleadings and other documents.
- Communicate with clients, the courts, other counsel, and vendors.
- Retrieve files.
- Scan documents into iManage system/forward to attorneys and paralegals.
- Assist with preparation for trial, arbitration, and mediation.
- Distribute all incoming mail/FedEx.
- Ensure all outgoing mail is routed in a timely manner.
- General office upkeep.
