Job description
As a Digital Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation and IT projects to deliver significant value to our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful adoption of new digital tools and processes. Moreover, you will act as a key liaison between technical experts and business stakeholders, fostering innovation and optimizing our digital project pipeline in alignment with strategic business goals.
In your new role you will:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation and IT projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements in alignment with business goals
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk registers, and status reports
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Monitor project performance using appropriate KPIs and reporting frameworks, ensuring timely escalation of issues when required
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, IT specialists, developers, and third-party vendors
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
- Drive adoption of new digital tools, platforms, and processes through structured change management practices
- Support the development and prioritization of the digital project portfolio in line with strategic objectives
- Actively contribute to the growth and enrichment of the site's digitalization idea pipeline
Your Profile
Your excellent storytelling and communication skills make you a strong bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, allowing you to drive stakeholder engagement and informed decision-making. You are adaptable and thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, enjoying the challenge of coordinating cross-functional global networks of IT specialists, developers, and vendors.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1+ year of proven experience as a Project Manager or driving project execution as Engineer, delivering IT and/or digital transformation projects
- Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, specifically in translating complex technical concepts into clear narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Strong documentation discipline, ensuring all project reports, and communications are accurate, structured
- Professional working proficiency in English, and fluency in Hungarian
