Civil Engineering Technologist / Engineer
Our client in Durbanville, is a detail-driven Civil Engineering Technologist or Engineer with a passion for designing smarter, sustainable solutions, this role places you at the forefront of large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects that truly impact communities.
Responsibilities: • Design of civil services for municipal, commercial and industrial developments, including preparation of
relevant documentation, and contract administration/monitoring
• Produce technical deliverables for the design and implementation of roads, stormwater services, sewer services, water services, ducting services and bulk earthworks
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical project specifications in line with the relevant SANS codes
• Conducting site inspections and leading site meetings
• Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports
• Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems/challenges in
• Interaction with Clients
Requirements: • B. Eng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Non-negotiable)
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Engineer or Technologist or eligible to register within the next 12 months
• Minimum 5-10 years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design and Building Environment experience a pre-requisite
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects • Competent with Civil Designer and AutoCAD
• Good communication and people skills
