Quality Manager

Silgan Containers is hiring a Quality Manager at our Fort Dodge, IA plant. This position plays a critical leadership role in facilitating the plant’s quality assurance policies and procedures, maintaining customer relationships, and directing plant continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do as the Quality Manager

• Direct plant activities to ensure administrative quality procedures.  
• Quality Control Software training, maintenance, and record control.    
• Lead the plant's continuous improvement program and quality control software.  
• Maintain quality records, forms, and equipment.  
• Build and maintain customer relationships.  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Continuous Improvement, and quality systems management.
• Proficiency with Windows, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, engineering, and customers.
