About the role
The Legal Department for the Illinois Agricultural Association and COUNTRY Financial group have an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative assistant in our Bloomington, IL office. This role supports multiple attorneys within the corporate Legal Department, with an emphasis on supporting the Litigation Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of administrative assistant experience and be a self-directed problem solver with excellent judgment and advanced level technical skills. Responsibilities include a wide range of traditional and specialized administrative support to be completed in a timely, confidential, and efficient manner across a range of practice areas.How does this role make an impact?
- Overall responsibilities vary by position to ensure specialized support to meet the needs of assigned department(s) or staff, such as assisting with programs and events, Board or committee meetings, publications, registrations, materials, presentations and other matters, as assigned. - Performs confidential administrative duties relating to business matters or personnel issues; maintains confidential and sensitive information. - Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings and/or special events, maintains calendar of events and may make travel arrangements, as assigned. - Maintains files and records, prepares documents and reports, answers phone calls, responds to inquiries, and coordinates various communications with internal and external contacts. - May compile, track and analyze data; monitor budgets; compile and distribute meeting minutes; process invoices or expense reports; and/or maintain office supplies and equipment. - Acknowledges and communicates emergency alarms to appropriate personnel. - Computer proficient with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good project management skills, including the ability to manage projects simultaneously, organize efficiently, establish priorities and attend to details.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs and be adept at management and coordinating program details and meeting logistics.
- Typically requires 2 years of administrative experience.
Base Pay Range:
$44,800-$61,600The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
