Are you studying Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for real-world experience?
As a Service Desk Intern, you'll work alongside experienced IT professionals supporting businesses with day-to-day technology challenges. You'll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows devices, networking, cybersecurity, and professional IT service delivery in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to build technical skills, develop professional experience, and prepare for a future in IT.
What You'll Do
- Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot common Microsoft 365, Windows, hardware, and software issues.
- Build, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and update support tickets using our service management platform.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current college students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong interest in technology and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to ask questions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Coursework or experience in networking, cybersecurity, or computer support.
- CompTIA A+ certification (or working toward certification).
- Previous customer service or technical support experience.
