General Manager

Our executive search firm is representing a popular, multi-level bistro that offers a diverse selection of dishes, from classic comfort food to lighter cuisine. Located in a vibrant, high-traffic destination, frequented by both locals and tourists alike, our client is seeking a self-starter ready to build on the restaurant’s success and take revenue to the next level.

The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet programs. The ideal candidate will successfully achieve the establishment’s objectives in sales, cost reduction, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation. The position reports to the Director of Operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least three years of front-of-the-house operations in the service or food and beverage industry
• Previous experience managing a full-service and independently owned casual dining restaurant is preferred
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, food and beverage costs, and overall profitability
• A hands-on, self-starting leadership style with a commitment to food quality, service, and guest experience

 

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
