As a Partner, Learning & Development, you’ll play a key role as part of the Talent Organizational & Development (TOD) team. You will lead learning and development initiatives specifically supporting the Field and Operations functions of the business. This role will require close collaboration with Supply Chain and Transportation business leaders and Field HR Business Partners.
Job Description
- Full-Time, Remote Role
- Travel: Up to 20% travel to C&S Family of Companies locations across the U.S.
You will contribute by:
- Collaborating cross-functionally to design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and engaging new-hire experience.
- Coordinating the successful rollout of core compliance training programs.
- Administering Workday Learning, including content management, learner engagement, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Reviewing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for LMS administration, as well as Workday Learning user self-help articles.
- Serving as the Workday Learning liaison to the HRIS team on the technical design and publishing of content, training activities, and learning assignments.
- Maintaining and updating training content in Workday Learning to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with company policies.
- Tracking and reporting on training completion, compliance metrics, and program effectiveness.
- Supporting the creation of instructional materials, such as presentations, guides, and e-learning modules, that adhere to internal learning design and governance standards.
- Providing support to employees and managers regarding training-related questions and Workday Learning usage.
- Ensuring all required training is delivered on time and properly documented.
We’re searching for candidates with:
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and styles.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations.
- Proficiency with e-learning or performance support technology and production tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to engage and influence at all levels of an organization.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to gain and retain the attention and involvement of sophisticated and challenging audiences.
- Excellent consultative skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
- Ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption.
- Experience delivering onboarding and compliance training programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when tracking and reporting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- 2-5 years of experience in learning and development, training, HR, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), ideally Workday Learning, including managing learning transcripts and courses, running reports, and working with the business to design and upload courses.
- Experience with Learning and Development operations, including learning projects, classroom learning, and the development and delivery of learning content.
- Experience with Leadership and Organizational Development training and facilitation, Talent Development, or Human Resources Business Partner functions.
- Knowledge of organizational development, change management, leadership development, talent planning, performance management, and organization design.
- Experience interacting with senior management and the ability to engage and influence at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
