With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.
The Opportunity
Allegro MicroSystems is seeking an experienced, impactful Automotive Sales Manager to join our Americas Automotive Sales team in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will serve as the primary commercial and strategic interface for targeted automotive accounts, with an emphasis on xEV powertrain and ADAS applications. Leveraging deep automotive electronics knowledge and strong commercial acumen, you will drive pipeline growth, secure strategic design wins, and position Allegro as a trusted technology partner.
What You Will Do
- Drive Revenue & Design Wins: Accelerate pipeline development and secure high-impact design wins across key e-mobility segments, including xEV powertrain and ADAS (steering, braking, and sensing).
- Account Leadership & Strategy: Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned Tier 1 automotive customers; build long-term relationships across engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.
- Value Proposition Delivery: Tailor and deliver compelling technical and commercial value propositions that demonstrate Allegro’s system-level advantages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal business lines, engineering, and regional sales teams to align customer requirements with Allegro’s product roadmaps and commercial strategies.
- Accountability & Execution: Ensure commitments are executed with excellence, tracking milestones from initial engagement through production ramp.
What You Will Need
- Minimum 3+ years of successful sales, business development, or field application experience within the automotive electronics or semiconductor industries.
- Solid technical understanding of automotive systems; an established network within North American Tier 1 suppliers (specifically in xEV powertrain or ADAS) is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to identify key influencers, structure business cases, and navigate complex commercial negotiations.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and presentation skills, with a track record of effectively influencing both technical teams and senior executive audiences.
- A proactive self-starter who embraces a "One Allegro" collaborative mindset, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and delivers measurable results.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) the Auburn Hills, MI area, with the ability to travel 30%–50% within the Americas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA or advanced technical degree is an advantage.
