Job Description:

ReVireo is looking for an individual to fill the full-time position of Junior Project Manager that will be focusing on single family residential projects. The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in performing a variety of tasks related to energy code compliance and residential energy efficiency certifications, such as ENERGY STAR and Efficient New Homes, for single family residential construction types and project teams. 

This role will support the Project Manager in consulting and managing the compliance and certification of projects under these standards, coordinating with design professionals and contractors through the design and construction phases of building projects. This role will often work in partnership with ReVireo’s energy modeling, commissioning, and field inspection teams to deliver energy code compliance certifications such as ENERGY STAR and Efficient New Homes. 

Job Responsibilities:

Perform tasks related to ENERGY STAR and Efficient New Homes certifications, as well as energy code compliance, including, but not limited to, the following:

· Perform energy modeling of residential construction plans in REM/Rate, Ekotrope, and other software programs to determine projected HERS Index and compliance with applicable residential energy code and/or certification/incentive programs.

· Review model compliance with energy efficiency goals

· Create reports, such as the Energy Compliance Analysis (ECA) and Energy Compliance Specifications (ECS), based on energy modeling with recommended building specifications

· Work with Project Manager to deliver ECA/ECS results to clients

· Complete plan reviews to ensure project compliance with applicable codes and standards

· Assist project team with technical questions

· Perform on-site kick off meetings to ensure onsite construction managers and trades meet applicable requirements

· Provide technical support to design team, i.e., architects, engineers, etc. to answer inquiries related to target certifications

· Create supporting documentation and specifications for target certifications

· When necessary, complete in-field testing such as envelope leakage testing, duct leakage testing, and pre-drywall inspections.

Requirements

Position Requirements

· Experience with at least one of the following:

o International Energy Conservation Code

o ENERGY STAR Single Family New Homes

o Efficient New Homes (Single Family)

· RESNET HERS Rater credential required 

· Residential energy modeling experience is required

· Undergraduate degree and/or graduate degree in a related field preferred

· Strong interest in reducing building operating energy and improving the built environment

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Eagerness to learn and develop new skills

· Ability to juggle tasks well and willingness to take on many different assignments

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel)

· General proficiency with other online business technology platforms

· Ability to work in an unsupervised environment and manage own tasks efficiently

Location

· Located in NJ, NY, CT, or PA.

Compensation and Benefits

· Starting salary is a minimum of $80,000-$90,000 per year and will be commensurate with experience, credentials and qualifications; re-evaluated on a rolling basis throughout the year based on performance.
