The Opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Sales to lead the commercial activities and technical operations in Italy. This strategic leadership role combines commercial responsibility with oversight of the technical service delivery team, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction while driving sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Drive business development, lead generation, and key account management within the region assigned.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform commercial decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to regional leadership.
Technical Team Management
- Oversee the technical service delivery team ensuring added value service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the team to optimize resource planning, training, and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, customer support, and technical excellence.
People & Performance
- Manage, evaluate, and develop a cross-functional team to support operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, curiosity and customer focus.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role, ideally in software dedicated to manufacturing, industrial services, and preferably in CAM-related sectors.
- Experience managing sales team.
- Excellent management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English in addition of the local language.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Value solution selling approach and customer-centric mindset with a passion for innovation and quality.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
Key deliverables
- Develop and implement a country-specific sales plan aligned with BU strategy and regional CAM market dynamics.
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through new business acquisition and existing account expansion.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and upselling.

- Ensure efficient coordination between sales and technical delivery teams for seamless customer experience.
Compensation & Benefits
NCBA Classification: Executive Employee ("Quadro") under the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Confapi PMI Metalmeccanica.
Compensation: Starting from EUR 49,000 gross per year, plus an annual commission plan reviewed on a yearly basis.
The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including professional experience, qualifications, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the specific skills of the selected candidate.
