Here, new ideas are encouraged, candid feedback is welcomed, and your growth truly matters as much as the company’s. At Kinective, [TA3.1]we are leading the way to intelligent banking together and enjoying the journey along the way.
Why This Role Matters
Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve. As the VP of Product, Data Intelligence, you will own the strategic direction, growth, and market success of Kinective’s Data Intelligence product line, enabling banks and credit unions to turn fragmented data into actionable intelligence and measurable business outcomes.
You will take ownership of the Data Intelligence portfolio and partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, Platform, and executive leadership to turn priorities into scalable results that drive success for both Kinective and our clients.
What you’ll own
Product Line Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Own the business and product direction for Data Intelligence (DI), with accountability for stabilizing the product line, accelerating growth, and establishing DI as a focused strategic business within Kinective.
- Define and lead the 12–18-month Data Intelligence strategy and roadmap, ensuring priorities reflect market opportunity, customer needs, competitive differentiation, pricing approaches, and Kinective’s broader solution strategy.
- Make strategic investment and prioritization decisions that strengthen DI’s role in Kinective’s long-term growth and differentiated market position.
Portfolio, Packaging & Commercialization
- Shape DI into a set of defined, repeatable, and scalable product and solution offers aligned to Kinective’s core ICPs, personas, and solution bundles rather than one-off capabilities.
- Own product packaging, commercialization, and positioning decisions that determine how DI is sold as modular capabilities, bundled solutions, or broader platform value.
- Translate financial institution pain points, market trends, and product gaps into clear product investment choices, use-case commercialization, and revenue-aligned growth plans.
Platform Direction & Market Relevance
- Drive the transition of DI from reporting and analytics point value toward a differentiated data activation platform that connects data, surfaces intelligence, and triggers action inside financial institutions.
- Guide roadmap direction across platform, analytics, workflow, AI, integration, and bundle-enabling capabilities within the DI portfolio.
- Ensure the platform continues to solve high-value financial institution use cases across lending, financial reporting, marketing automation, CRM and Member 360, performance management, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Orchestration & Execution Leadership
- Lead cross-functional orchestration across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, Platform, AI, and executive leadership, so DI priorities are commercially viable, operationally ready, and consistently executed.
- Provide executive oversight of DI execution through the Director of DI and team, including operating cadence, KPI tracking, escalation management, and metrics reporting to executive leadership.
- Prioritize customer and market problems over custom one-off requests, with accountability for scalable outcomes and measurable business impact.
Category Leadership & Strategic Influence
- Serve as the executive voice of the DI market problem and opportunity, articulating why Kinective is positioned to win in data intelligence for community financial institutions.
- Act as a thought leader internally and externally, helping align stakeholders around market category, differentiated value, and the strategic role of DI within Kinective’s broader platform and solution strategy.
- Partner with other product lines to enable cross-functional solution bundles that depend on DI capabilities and data-driven functionality.
How We’ll Measure Success
- Stabilizing and growing the Data Intelligence product line through clear strategy, market-aligned roadmap decisions, and stronger commercial performance that meet or exceed our revenue and growth targets.
- Owning portfolio decisions, operating rhythms, and cross-functional alignment that improve execution quality and make DI easier to scale with measured MBOs to validate success.
- Working effectively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, Platform, and executive leadership to translate priorities into measurable business outcomes.
- Improving how DI is positioned, packaged, and delivered so Kinective can solve higher-value customer problems with scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Raising the strategic visibility and market relevance of DI within Kinective and across the financial institution landscape.[KS4.1][AC4.2]
