Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management - Processing and Program Management SolutionsOverviewMastercard is seeking a commercially focused payments professional to support the growth of Processing and Programme Management solutions across EEMEA.
This role combines business development, customer relationship management, programme leadership and industry engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing sales opportunities, driving customer acquisitions, supporting renewals, developing strategic client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of customer programmes.
Working closely with customers, partners and internal stakeholders, this individual will play a key role in expanding Mastercard's presence across banks, fintechs, programme managers, airlines, retailers, corporate issuers and other participants within the payments ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, solving customer challenges and delivering measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams through to senior business decision-makers, while maintaining a hands-on approach to opportunity management, customer engagement and programme delivery.
Role
Commercial Growth & Business Development
• Build, develop and manage a robust pipeline of Processing and Programme Management opportunities across the region.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and emerging customer segments.
• Develop and execute targeted growth plans across financial institutions, fintechs, programme managers, airlines, retailers, corporate issuers and other payment ecosystem participants.
• Develop compelling value propositions, proposals and business cases that address customer needs and support commercial growth.
• Partner with Account Management, Sales, Product and Customer Solution Centre teams to originate, develop and close revenue opportunities.
• Support commercial negotiations, contract discussions and customer engagements through to successful execution.
• Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing customer portfolios and contribute to the achievement of agreed revenue and growth objectives.
• Track, manage and report pipeline progression, commercial performance and revenue outcomes.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders across the payments ecosystem.
• Develop and execute account growth plans focused on customer retention, expansion and long-term value creation.
• Act as a trusted partner to customers by understanding their business objectives and helping them navigate complex payments and programme management challenges.
• Support customer renewals, commercial discussions and strategic engagements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Serve as an escalation point for commercial, operational and programme-related matters where required.
Programme Management & Delivery
• Support customers throughout the programme lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and solution design through implementation and commercialisation.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery and positive customer outcomes.
• Support governance, operational readiness, implementation activities and programme reviews.
• Identify delivery risks, manage escalations and coordinate resolution activities where required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance programme performance and customer experience.
Partner & Ecosystem Management
• Build and maintain relationships with processors, fintechs, technology providers and strategic ecosystem partners.
• Monitor partner performance, governance activities and operational commitments to support customer success.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Mastercard's partner ecosystem and expand market reach.
• Work closely with partners to support commercial growth, service quality and customer outcomes.
Market Engagement
• Represent Mastercard at industry conferences, customer events and ecosystem forums, developing relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
• Maintain awareness of industry developments, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics and regulatory changes impacting the payments ecosystem.
• Share market insights and customer feedback to support future business development opportunities and commercial growth initiatives.
All About You
You have experience within payments, banking, fintech, issuing, processing, programme management or a related financial services environment and have demonstrated an ability to deliver commercial and customer outcomes. You are comfortable managing customer relationships, developing business opportunities and working across multiple stakeholders to achieve results.
A strong understanding of the payments ecosystem is essential, including debit, credit, prepaid and commercial card programmes, issuer processing models, BIN sponsorship structures and the regulatory frameworks that govern payment programmes. You should be confident discussing programme design, processing architectures, operating models and customer propositions with both business and technical stakeholders, and be capable of representing Mastercard credibly in customer, partner and industry engagements.
You are a commercially minded problem solver who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and converting them into tangible business outcomes. You can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, adapt your approach to your audience and balance commercial, operational and customer considerations to deliver successful outcomes.
