Description
Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Architect and own and drive the end-to-end delivery plan.
Goal Alignment: Engage and align diverse teams toward shared goals, ensuring every contributor understands how their work maps to the final outcome.
Outcome Realisation and OKR leadership: Partner with teams to agree on OKRs, build robust plans to achieve them, and monitor and drive progress towards their full realisation, taking decisive action when progress deviates from the strategic goal. Take corrective action when progress towards OKRs is at risk, ensuring the mission stays on track.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within technology teams as well as the wider business. Partner with managers across the organisation to improve developer and employee experience. Build and drive systems that continuously identify and remove impediments and improve team productivity.
Systemic Enablement: Continuously refine the delivery framework to remove friction, increase speed, and improve the quality of the engineering output.
Continuous Delivery Evolution: Build a high-performing culture centered on continuous delivery, innovation, and efficiency. Continuously evaluate and seek improvements across all areas of responsibility to increase the speed and quality of outcome realisation.
Risk & Dependency Mastery: Actively hunt and eliminate risks. Proactively identify, visualise, and seek to eliminate cross-team dependencies that threaten timelines.
End-to-End Forecasting: Own the accuracy of time and cost forecasts, integrating estimation methodologies, team metrics, and known constraints.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the authoritative voice on project status, costs, and timelines, providing transparency to leadership. Prepare stakeholder communications that prioritise status, timelines, and costs in the context of value delivered. Facilitate reporting that bridges the gap between technical progress and business expectations.
