General Position Description:
Overall knowledge & Competencies Required:
Comprehensive understanding of the Trade Lifecycle/MFS Income & Re-reg/Daily Valuation operations
Knowledge on Financial Instruments such as Equity, Bonds, Mutual Funds, 401K funds etc…
Good understanding of Custody and Sub Custodian banking network
Knowledge of the Asset Servicing Practice would be considered as an advantage
Must have an eye for detail and should be able to carry out Quality Checks and report the same
Good verbal & written communication skills is a must
Must possess and demonstrate qualities of a team player
Should be able to multitask and handle pressure situations
Should understand the concept of Driving Performance
Good understanding and demonstrate A-Approach
QUALIFICATION
Major Duties:
Contribute towards implementing controls & procedures to mitigate risks, derived by performing an error analysis, measured through resultant improvements
Track & document process improvements including benefits, time saved & capacity utilization on a monthly basis
Implement initiatives or redesign existing process structure for process betterment / operational efficiency
Develop and maintain specific subject expertise, Good understanding of Swifts instructions, swift tags and provide inputs as required
Maintain risk management and control activities for their assigned group
Perform an internal risk audit or FMEA analysis on a quarterly basis for team
Aggressively investigate exceptions upon notification to ensure timely resolution to avoid aged exceptions and loss due to errors
Building effective working relationship with off-shore partners and other relevant partner areas
Pro-active & able to perform multi-task, provides hands on training for new staff and cross training for experienced staff
Ensures response/resolution is completed within the established deadlines/SLAs and appropriate priority levels are applied to key client deliverables
Provide inputs towards continuous improvement of procedures to maintain highest possible efficiency and risk mitigation
Assists client, partners and staff with complex problem resolution. Maintains technical knowledge of Custody workflow, Trade & Settlements,MFS,DV-OP`s and how the function relates to other operating areas
Maintains data for collation and provision of MIS
Participates /drives project(s) at Division or Practice level as assigned
This position supports the Trade and Settlements Division and reports to the Team Leader.
Minimum Requirements:
A Graduate from any discipline (Commerce background is preferred)
Minimum 24 months of experience in the Financial Services Industry (Please mention if previous work ex involved, relevant to Financial Services Industry )
Must be flexible to work in shifts and/or on a rotational basis
Shift Timing: Night Shift (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST).
Location - Pune and Bangalore
