Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team in Lansing, MI This role is central to supporting our growing customer base, delivering high-quality service, and driving customer retention through exceptional performance. You’ll perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial refrigeration systems while providing excellent communication and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform service calls, maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration systems, including:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, maintaining a first-time fix rate of 75% or higher
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation using digital tools
• Respond to on-call demands as needed, with timely, professional communication to customers and team members
• Collaborate with peers and managers to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• EPA certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration service

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and move heavy objects
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and extreme temperatures, with the endurance to stand or kneel while servicing equipment
• Confident on ladders and at heights up to 45 feet (sometimes higher)
• Steady hands for electrical work and precise measurements
