Overview

 

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to own the accounting and reporting for one of HireRight's largest global expense categories, Data Cost. This role partners closely with Operations, FP&A, and Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, improve forecasting, and drive process improvements across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with business partnership, data analysis, and process improvement.

 

This is a hybrid role requiring three onsite days per week based in our downtown Nashville, TN HQ location.

 

Responsibilities

 

What You'll Do

• Own monthly accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for global data costs
• Partner with Operations, Finance Analytics, and FP&A to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting
• Analyze cost trends and explain monthly fluctuations
• Support month-end close and external audit activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and automation
• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives

 

Qualifications

 

What You'll Bring

• CPA required
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or BlackLine preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve efficiency
