Program Description:
The Undergraduate Summer Analyst Program gives undergraduate sophomores the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. Through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities, students get:

Access to learning events with senior leaders from the New York Fed, giving them direct insight into the public service and financial services world
Sophomore interns work in one specific business area or function for ten weeks, and have access to opportunities for collaboration with other students and employees from around the Bank.
At the end of the program, students leave with strong skills, professional connections, and meaningful experiences that will support them in their long-term careers.
Our Unique Work:
As a 2026 Summer Program Sophomore Analyst within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) Process Simplification & Automation (PSA) team, you will have an opportunity help the Bank define the most efficient and effective way to execute processes while retaining quality. You will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes of our Bank’s operations and help deliver solutions that enrich our employee experience and move the Bank from current to future state. Together, we will celebrate our team successes and learn quickly from our failures. We look forward to welcoming you as the newest member of our team.
How You’ll Make an impact as an Executive Office Intern (Sophomore)
Participate in our Process Champions Program: Learn how to analyze processes to understand steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business processes through current and future process flows.
Partner with a seasoned Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Citizen Developer: Immerse yourself in the PSA team’s automation strategy, development and System wide training efforts.
Earn your UiPath Citizen Developer Automation certification: Complete a self-paced online learning course and provide feedback on the experience. Your insights will help shape the future of our Citizen Developer Program at the Bank and throughout the System.
Bring your expertise of AI to the Executive Office: Help us identify ways to simplify how we work using current and new technology.
The Unique Skill Sets We’re Looking For:
A basic understanding of the fundamentals of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development and how it can transform the way we work
Ability to learn new systems and form an understanding of those systems, through independent research and working with a mentor and subject matter experts
Someone who embraces the mindset of continuous improvement, outside the box thinking and delivery
Someone who is curious, self-propelled and genuine

Salary Range: Your regular wages for the 10 weeks will be paid on a semi-monthly basis and will be calculated based on an annual salary of $65,600
