About the Role
As a Commercial Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be at the centre of a fast-paced global network, partnering with customers, suppliers, traders, agents, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure products move seamlessly from contract to customer.
Reporting to the Commercial Supply Chain Supervisor, you'll take ownership of an assigned customer portfolio, managing every stage of the supply chain journey - from contract execution and order management through to shipping, invoicing, and payment collection. Combining commercial acumen, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset, you'll play a vital role in delivering on commitments, resolving challenges, and driving operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
Manage end-to-end commercial transactions for an assigned customer portfolio, ensuring contracts are executed, orders are processed accurately, and all activities align with agreed commercial terms.
Ensure compliance and effective risk management by adhering to global trade requirements, local tax obligations, legal governance standards, and key commercial controls, including SOX and audit requirements.
Coordinate critical supply chain and commercial activities, including order fulfilment, import and export documentation, pricing and hedging processes, invoicing, and revenue collection support.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships by delivering exceptional service to customers, suppliers, traders, and agents while collaborating closely with internal teams to resolve issues and drive successful outcomes.
Support business performance and continuous improvement through accurate forecasting inputs, participation in regional initiatives, sharing best practices across the team, and contributing to operational excellence across the commercial supply chain function.

What you can bring to the role
Qualifications and experience in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline, supported by demonstrated experience in an end-to-end commercial supply chain environment.
Strong commercial and operational knowledge, including exposure to shipment coordination, freight management, import/export processes, Bill of Lading requirements, and laytime (demurrage/despatch) management.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and confidently engage with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
A customer-focused and detail-oriented approach, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced global environment.
Proven capability to support team leadership activities and provide coverage for the Commercial Supply Chain Supervisor as required.
