Your Role:
Design, implement, and scale chemical processes for industrial manufacturing
Analyze, evaluate, and implement polymer production processes for intraocular lenses
Assess manufacturing methods for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and functionality; identify improvement opportunities
Plan, conduct, or commission experiments in process areas, and document results
Optimize and automate chemical processes
Qualify equipment and processes; ensure reliable operation
Monitor plant quality and output and drive continuous improvement
Your Profile:
A successfully completed degree in chemistry, process engineering, or a related field
Some professional experience in an industrial setting; experience in regulated environments is a plus
Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry
Optional but beneficial: experience with acrylates or radical polymerization
Structured, goal-oriented problem-solving approach
High initiative, strong commitment, and flexibility
Enjoy collaborating in international teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills
You value diverse perspectives and contribute to an inclusive team culture
Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
