Are you friendly, dependable, and interested in making a difference on campus? The Career & Professional Development Center is looking for enthusiastic students to serve as Career Ambassadors—the welcoming face of our office and a key resource for students, alumni, employers, and faculty.

This is a great opportunity to help others, gain professional experience, and build career-ready skills while supporting the SNHU community.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome visitors and create a friendly, professional environment.
• Serve as a first point of contact, answer questions, and connect visitors with the appropriate resources.
• Assist students with scheduling career appointments.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls professionally.
• Support Career Center projects, outreach, and events.
• Represent the Career Center alongside staff at campus events, classroom visits, and information tables.
• Help prepare for, set up, and support Career Center events and programs.

Minimum Requirements

• Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate campus program.
• Federal Work Study eligibility as part of your financial aid package.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
• Preferred, but not required: Previous customer service or office experience.

Hours & Pay

• 10–12 hours per week, with up to 20 hours during busy periods.
• Shifts are scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional early evening events.
• Pay: $13.00–$13.50/hour

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
