Clinical Medical Director (DVM) – Lafayette, CO
A growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its team in a leadership-focused role. This opportunity is well suited for a doctor who is interested in providing high-quality patient care while helping guide a veterinary team and contribute to the development of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and urgent care services.
- Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate recommendations to clients.
- Lead and support veterinary and support staff.
- Promote a positive, collaborative practice culture.
- Mentor other veterinarians and contribute to clinical development.
- Help establish and maintain effective clinical workflows.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable veterinary standards.
- Support the continued growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 5 years of veterinary experience preferred.
- Current DEA license and USDA accreditation or ability to obtain.
- Strong clinical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and team development.
