We are seeking a motivated undergraduate student to join our team as an HR Administrative Intern. This is an unpaid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in human resources within the nonprofit sector. The intern will support day-to-day HR functions and gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with recruitment activities including posting positions, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff
- Draft internal communications, HR documents, and policy summaries
- Assist with planning employee engagement and recognition initiatives
- Support benefits and payroll administration tasks under supervision
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
- Assist with preparing materials for staff meetings and training
- Handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives across departments as needed
