Maintenance Electrician

 

Location: Mobile, Morpeth North East 

Contract: Full time, permanent. Hours: 38.75 hours per week. Operational hours - Monday to Friday 08.00 - 18.00.

 

Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) provides hard and soft FM services, grounds maintenance and energy services for single and multi-site locations throughout the UK. Our plans for growth require RFM to ‘make the market’, and to be at the forefront of high value opportunities in the FM marketplace.

Your new role

What you’ll do: 

• Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and our client(s).
• Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on:
  • Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Service and repair of motors and pumps.
• Competent on BMS control systems
• Competent PAT tester
• Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM
• To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and ensuring all tasks are completed within contractual timescales, informing the Supervisor of any follow up action that may be require
• Ability to complete NICEIC documentation
• Full compliance of handheld technology (PDA & Tablet) using RFM’s management system FSI Go
• To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities
• To report all accidents and incidents as per RFM’s Health and Safety Policy

The successful candidate will require a Standard DBS Check before starting in the job.

 

Who we’re looking for:

To be successful in your application, you will be a qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification required including 18th Edition and AM2 Practical Skills Assessment. You will have experience in electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing. Valid UK Driving Licence required.
