Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception Services in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming, professional presence for tenants and visitors. You will manage access, greet guests, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building lobby, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, coordinate with building management and/or maintenance personnel, and communicate relevant information to appropriate contacts.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
