About the Role
The Tier 1 HR Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR stakeholders across the APAC region.
This role is responsible for handling routine HR inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and processes, and managing HR service requests through
ServiceNow (SNOW).
The specialist will also support Workday (WD) transactions, maintain data
accuracy, and ensure timely resolution of employee requests while delivering an exceptional employee experience.
What You Will Do
• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries across APAC via ticketing systems, email, and chat.
• Respond to employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, employment verification, and other HR programs.
• Manage and resolve HR cases using ServiceNow (SNOW) in accordance with established SLAs.
• Perform routine HR transactions and data updates in Workday (WD), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to Tier 2 HR Operations or Centers of Excellence when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and knowledge articles.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regional labor regulations, and data privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and other cross-functional teams to resolve employee issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.
• Meet service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.
What You Need to Be Successful
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or HR Service Delivery.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow case management tool.
• Working knowledge of Workday HR processes and transactions.
• Experience supporting employees across the APAC region is preferred.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
