Sterilization Technician

This is a great entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be a part of our back-office team responsible for sterilizing instruments, instruments, and rooms. No prior experience is needed as training will be provided on the job!

 

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00

 

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:45am-5:45pm, Fridays and Saturdays as needed 

 

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas for treatments and procedures
• Disinfect and sterilize instruments, equipment, chairs, counters and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washers
• Check sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
• Deliver tools to specified locations in the office
• Maintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is low
• Stock dental supplies

Qualifications

• Proficient in English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team or independently
