Job Purpose:
Magellan is a global business transformation program accompanying a move of our ERP system from SAP ECC to S4 HANA. Magellan’s goal is to simplify, standardise and modernise our core business processes, enabling BSC to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth.
As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful Business Transformation across the BSC network (Manufacturing, Divisional and Distribution sites). This role will be reporting to the Product Owner, Supplier Management & Clinical Quality.
This role represents the Business Users, collaborating with the Magellan Workstreams, SME’s, COP teams and Stakeholders across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the successful execution of the Magellan Program by representing Business Users and collaborating with Magellan Workstreams, SMEs, COP teams, and stakeholders across the BSC network.
- Drive business transformation efforts by standardizing and modernizing supply chain processes within the medical device industry.
- Facilitate the transition from SAP ECC to S4 HANA, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage and communicate the program vision and strategy effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Analyse and solve complex supply chain challenges, leveraging data and process insights to drive results.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed documentation to support program initiatives.
- Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
- Support training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support to stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Science or supply chain related field required.
- 3+ years technical, professional or operational supply chain experience in medical device field required.
- A proven track record of Continuous Improvement and proactive problem solving.
- Ability to establish, communicate and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program.
- Good listening and communication skills, with ability to transfer knowledge efficiently.
- High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
- Detail-oriented with ability to complete data entry tasks with accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical and results-oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
