Description
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
- Support Product Owners by assisting with backlog management, and ensuring the team understands the product goals and scope.
- Remove blockers by identifying and eliminating obstacles that impact the team’s progress.
- Promote Agile practices and ensure that the team follows the Scrum Framework and adheres to Agile principles.
- Track progress and monitor team performance through key metrics and ensure transparency in the development process.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement improvements.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholder
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices, as well as software development processes and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to facilitate and collaborate effectively in cross-functional, matrixed teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Experience leading projects in financial data or capital markets domains.
This position is based in Toronto, Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $129,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
