The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide staffing support to assigned region(s) to complete full-cycle recruiting for Team Members by executing successful hiring events aligned with the prioritization determined by region/district management. This position will also be a brand ambassador within their assigned region(s) generating flow from field recruiting and ensuring consistent candidate pool to hourly requisitions. This position will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing 8-10 hiring events on weekly basis based on prioritization determined by region or district management in accordance with guidelines set in place by manager to maximize turn out
Setting up and conducting team member interviews successfully
Managing advertisement budget for their assigned region(s) to ensure funds are used effectively based on staffing and advertising sources efficiently to maximize exposure and generate sufficient applicant pools
Reaching out to candidates within Workday, Snagajob, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and other sources on a daily basis
Generating candidate flow from field recruiting by partnering with including not limited to local universities, churches, and organizations
Updating required reports on a consistent basis to ensure goals are being met to the criteria of 85% staffed per their assigned Region(s)
Providing feedback to HR and region/district management on a consistent basis as determined by Manager
Manages orientation process in accordance with company guidelines to ensure new hires have properly completed all new hire actions in a timely manner
Works hand-in-hand with operations team to fully execute hiring of team members
Utilizes approaches, methods, procedures and tools provided and approved by Manager of Talent Acquisition
QUALIFICATIONS:
Non-exempt employee who has a proven track record meeting or exceeding performance goals and demonstrating a servant mentality towards working with people
High level of energy coupled with ability to multi-task
Demonstrates an outward passion for the company and strong organizational skills
Understands how to handle and protect confidential information as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2+ years’ experience in a staffing role
2+ years’ QSR/restaurant experience preferred
Preferred but not required, experience with onboarding, E-Verify, and I9 verification
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish or Creole) preferred
Clear, effective verbal and written skills
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting up to 50 lbs
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Restaurants, universities, civic/religious organizations
Travel up to 80%
EQUIPMENT USED:
Computers, hiring event materials, tablets, phone, printer, scanner, car
