The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
## Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo, ND you will:
- The Supply Management Specialist Part-Time Student supports Supply Management professionals in supplier management, supplier onboarding, reporting, data analytics, strategic sourcing initiatives, and supply chain operations.
- This role provides hands-on experience working with suppliers, enterprise systems, supplier information, compliance documentation, and cross-functional business teams.
- Students will help maintain supplier data, support supplier governance and onboarding activities, develop reporting solutions, analyze business metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while gaining practical experience in procurement, supply chain management, supplier relationship management, and business analytics

## What Skills You Need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in supply chain operations, procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, data analytics, or business analytics.
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a US local accredited college or university
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours a week
- Available to work during the summer semester 30 to 40 hours a week
- Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Fargo, ND
## What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SAP, SharePoint, Ironclad, SQL, JDSN, or other enterprise business systems.
- Coursework in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Data Analytics, Project Management, or Information Systems.
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
- Understanding of supplier onboarding, supplier relationship management, pricing analysis, compliance, or contract lifecycle management processes.
- Previous internship, student leadership, project management, or continuous improvement experience.
- Strong interest in supplier governance, procurement, supply chain strategy, business analytics, and process improvement.
