Maintenance Officer

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Officer to be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure equipment operates efficiently, minimise downtime through preventative maintenance, and support safe, reliable production by identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong mechanical and machinery maintenance skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• Willing to work extended hours when required.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Inspect, service, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete general administrative duties related to maintenance activities.
