Description
Our Client is a 5* International Chain Resort with 300+ Rooms and 6 F&B Outlets.
This role will be in charge in their Japanese restaurant and will be reporting directly to the Executive Chef.
For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.
Profile
• Experience in Japanese Restaurant at 5 Star Hotel or reputable independent Japanese Restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Strong expertise in Japanese cuisine with extensive experience in teppanyaki, omakase, shabu-shabu, etc
• Able to train the team members on Japanese Cuisine
• Profound experience with authentic Japanese culinary concepts
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
• Passionate about cooking and high presentation standards
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
• Strong food cost and inventory control skills
• Professional presentation and grooming
• Hands on, energetic, and motivated
• Proactive with strong initiative
• Flexible with working hours
• Results oriented
• Good English both spoken and written
• Able to work under pressure
• Strong work ethic
• Computer literate
