Description
This role focuses on Infineon’s automotive Ethernet portfolio, including Ethernet switches, PHYs and bridges designed for next generation zonal architectures and ADAS use cases. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role This role focuses on Infineon’s automotive Ethernet portfolio, including Ethernet switches, PHYs and bridges designed for next generation zonal architectures and ADAS use cases. You will develop deep expertise in10M/100M/1000M/10G+ Automotive networking solutions covering IEEE802.3ch/dm, TSN and PODL, supporting robust data and power transmission over single pair cabling. Develop in-depth knowledge of products and target applications. Work with Marketing team to generate and publish general technology and product collaterals: datasheet, product briefs, whitepapers. Work with engineering teams to generate and publish product collaterals: application notes, user guides, design guidelines, and checklists. Verify product functions as applicable based on customer-specific implementations. Collaborate with Systems Engineering team to bring-up evaluation/demoboards. Maintain record of engagement with engineering teams, to include any decision that deviate from the norm. Provide status updates of ongoing projects Outbound • Prepare and maintain demo setup for customer demos and trade shows. Work with Marketing and engineering team to respond to non-standard technical requirement from customers. Generate materials and perform technical product training to FAE and sales teams. Provide 2nd level technical support to revenue generating customers including schematic and layout review of critical design wins. Duplicate and troubleshoot issues on customer's board and software related to Infineon products. Collaborate with local field support teams to provide direct technical support of reference design customers and eco-system partners. Maintain record of engagement with customers, to include any communication presented to customer that deviate from the norm. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Requirement (HW AE). Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in applications engineering, board development, or system level design and architecture. Knowledge of Ethernet Switch IC and switching architecture, PHY IC, and high speed SerDes(*GMII, XFI/SFI, PCle) protocols. Experience with lab debug equipment including oscilloscope and network analyzer. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but must be able to work as part of a team. Experience with Automotive Camera Connectivity (GMSL, FPD-Link, MIPICSI-2, etc) is a plus.
