Salary: $24.06/hour
Job Duties:
- Provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys and the legal assistant team.
- Works closely with attorneys to support the day-to-day operations of the practice, coordinate case-related activities, manage deadlines, prepare legal documents, and communicate with law enforcement, defense counsel, records departments and others.
- Prepares, proofreads, edits, and formats legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other case-related materials
- This position requires excellent organizational and time-management skills, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to the overall team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- Five years of prior experience in law research, preparation of legal documents, interviewing witnesses and victims and investigation of facts.
- Must be certified and pass yearly test to use REJIS.
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
