Senior Sous Chef – Luxury Boutique Hotel

We’re proud to be partnering with a highly regarded luxury country house hotel in the Cotswolds, celebrated for its relaxed approach to fine food and its commitment to seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to step into a key leadership role within a fast-paced, produce-driven kitchen. With menus shaped by the seasons and ingredients sourced from nearby suppliers and the hotel’s own grounds, this is a kitchen where creativity and adaptability are essential.

• £44,214 per annum (£21.20 per hour) including tronc plus paid overtime
• Working 40 hours per week across 5 days

Responsibilities as the Senior Sous Chef…

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading and motivating a dynamic brigade
• Driving standards across all sections, ensuring consistency and quality
• Contributing to menu development, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Playing a key role in mentoring, training, and developing junior chefs

As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be instrumental in shaping both the food offering and the team culture. This role suits a confident leader who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working closely with fresh ingredients, and takes pride in developing others.
