About the role:

What you’ll do:

The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the technical specification of new products as well as the owner of all R&D the deliverables of new development projects for Built-In Ovens, working in close collaboration with suppliers and project teams and global R&D teams, according to Electrolux’ development processes.

In detail, you will:

• New items development to be applied in products for Brazilian and Latin American markets

• Development of technical solutions in collaboration with Global R&D and suppliers’ teams

• Create and manage BOM for new products

• Coordinate and follow up pilot series assemblies

• Ensure continuous improvement of technical solutions

• Engage and communicate with project team members and suppliers to ensure alignment and collaboration

• Perform tear down of other products seeking optimization opportunities.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Who you are:

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production or related area)

• General knowledge about Bill of Materials and R&D documentation

• General knowledge of Team Center and SAP systems

• You like working in teams, with people from different cultures, you are open to discuss other

people’s ideas and you promote cross-collaboration to get people on board of activities

• You can identify and prioritize important input and you follow a logical path in your decisions

• English (advanced)
