Let's talk about the role
- Work closely with our Tax Partners, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex personal tax clients
- Deliver personal tax work to a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, owner-managers and non-domiciled/non-resident individuals, covering tax planning, capital gains tax on property and share disposals, inheritance tax planning, residence and domicile issues, and trusts and estates, to name a few
- Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations into personal tax affairs, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research
- Support with the management, training and development of the tax team, including junior and senior members of the team.
- Have primary responsibility for the operational aspects of the personal tax and self-assessment compliance process and assist and support members of the team with more complex personal tax issues
- Work collaboratively with senior managers of the audit department to enhance cross department relationships and provide an exceptional service to clients

- Be ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 5 years PQE gained in Tax practice
- Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income, and capital gains tax
- Have some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it’s not a necessity
- Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small
- Be confident in working to achieve great things alongside the rest of the team
