Role Summary
As an Inventory Specialist, you will support accurate receiving, storage, inspection, and distribution of food products in our Grove City warehouse. This role exists to protect product integrity, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep outbound orders moving safely and on time.
Key responsibilities include loading/unloading and storing product, verifying quality, preparing outbound loads (including bills of lading, seal numbers, tagging, shrink-wrapping), maintaining WMS locations and product data, using first-in-first-expired practices, replenishing pick locations, assisting with cycle counts, and following food safety and warehouse safety procedures.
Required qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma/GED; Food Safety Certification
- 1+ year fast-paced warehouse experience
- Forklift operation (propane & electric); electric hand jack (4ft & 8ft)
- Working knowledge of warehouse machinery/operations; WMS proficiency
- Quality control knowledge, strong math skills, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
