Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Traffic Analyst  located in Guadalajara north

Reporting to the Director, Trade the Traffic Analyst  role is Responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency, and management of various logistics operations. These operations may include, but are not limited to, tracking product shipments, contract negotiations, preparation of budget and cost analysis statements, creation of more efficient logistical planning, and coordination of shipments.

What a typical day looks like:

• Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
• Research for logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit research.
• Apply investigation methods or tools to comprehend, predict, or control logistics operations or processes.
• Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Confer with logistics management teams to define ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
• Maintain databases of logistics data and information in accordance with corporate policies.
• Provide ongoing researching in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes.
• Develop or maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting.
• Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
• Track product flow from origin to final delivery. Monitor flor of vehicles or inventory using logistics systems.
• Define packaging requirements.
• Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and order fulfillment rates.
• Manage systems to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.
• Contact carriers for rates or schedules.
• Communicate with or monitor service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companies.
• Compare locations or environmental policies of carriers or suppliers to make transportation resolutions with lower environmental impact.
• Develop or maintain freight rate databases for use by supply chain departments to define the most economical modes of transportation.
• Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty vehicles or containers.
• Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments.
• Route or reroute drivers in real time with remote route navigation software, satellite linkup systems, or global positioning systems (GPS) to improve operational efficiencies.
• Enter carbon-output or environmental-impact data into spreadsheets or environmental management or auditing software programs.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution operations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data mining, forecasting, and logistics modeling.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, transportation planning, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
• Experience developing and monitoring logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, order fulfillment, and transportation cost metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics databases/systems.
• Ability to create reports, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and process documentation.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and other logistics service providers.
• Knowledge of freight costing, freight rates, transportation modes, and logistics cost analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Experience in demand forecasting and cost-estimation models.
• Knowledge of packaging requirements and product flow management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with logistics, supply chain, procurement, and operations teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with GPS, route optimization software, logistics planning tools, and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of environmental impact reporting, sustainability initiatives, and carbon emission tracking is preferred.
• Advanced English communication skills (preferred for global logistics operations).
