Team mission

The Strategy & Corporate Development team’s mission is to support the creation and execution of innovative strategies that will help GetYourGuide harness its competitive advantage. We have a seat at the table and are able to navigate between big picture views and an analytical mindset to enable our Management team to make optimal decisions to achieve our company's mission.

Based in the Berlin headquarters and reporting to the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development you will partner with senior leaders across the company and play a vital part in informing and shaping strategy discussions by conducting in-depth market and competitive research, develop strategy recommendations and support the company strategy process. But it does not end here - you will also be involved in the quarterly OKR process and Quarterly Business Reviews to turn strategy into execution and see the results come to live.

Your mission

• Conduct competitive and market analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Translate strategic hypotheses into quantified business cases to uplevel the strategy discussions and capital allocation decisions.
• Own the “so what” and synthesize strategic insights, connect the dots and formulate strategy recommendations.
• Support the overall strategy process by preparing and delivering clear, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Support the OKR process to break the strategy into quarterly initiatives, track their execution and make sure we deliver on our goals.
• Raise the bar and evolve current strategic analysis formats; innovate with new data sources, methodologies, leverage AI tools to enhance analyses and presentation formats.

Your toolkit

• 4+ years of experience in top tier management consulting or similar strategy roles in dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills - comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Business acumen and commercial thinking, capable to translate strategic hypotheses into business cases and commercial models.
• AI-first mindset, experienced in leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into clear and actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with internal and external stakeholders and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German is a plus.
