What You Will Do:

Plan, and perform work on equipment used in the manufacture of powdered metals and related processes, including setting up, repairing and servicing equipment to meet customer requirements

• Perform repair work on complex Powder manufacturing equipment

• Work with preventive maintenance program and schedules

• Perform bench repair operations to restore parts where close tolerances are normally required and specifically defined criteria are not used.

• Perform work on Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and High press Gas Sys.

• Perform Continuous Improvement initiatives

• Interface with stock room to maintain a sufficient supply of spare parts

• Perform check and layout work on parts using inspection tools

• Service and repair Equipment using proper methods, tools and specifications Maintain logs and records as requested to communicate findings and prepare requests for approval.

• May be required to obtain and maintain training, operator permits and certifications within assigned area.

• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills

• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment

• Must have a strong attendance record

• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Must be able to work hours outside of the normal shift

• The position will work a schedule of Friday - Sunday (3x12) 7:00am - 7:00pm (4th shift)

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Have Associates Degree or 1-3 years Industrial electrical and electronics trade skills, certification, or equivalent

• Reading and interpreting wiring schematics

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is $24.00 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
