Job title - Junior Account Manager (12-months contract)

Location – Cologne, Germany

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing one of the top 5 global customers in Perfumery & Beauty.
• Develop successful working relationships with client contacts at any level.
• Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly.
• Establish dsm-firmenich as clients’ key partners by managing successfully all client interactions, and getting all possible clients’ briefs.
• Get clear and complete briefings from clients, translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects, and brief internal partners.
• Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients.
• Preparation of sales analysis, reports and presentations.
• Drive ambitious sales growth and profitability.
• Be an excellent team player, both internally and externally.

You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...) and a minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in marketing / sales or commercial apprenticeship as well as at least 3-5 years professional experience in marketing / sales.
• Good understanding of business, sales role and objectives and ability to develop successful client relationship.
• Ability to define and prioritize action plans according to business opportunities and success factors.
• Good team player, seen as a strong partner by the development teams involved in clients’ project.
• Computer literacy – German and English.
